Reliability: Sealed AC Motors

There are four main motors on the Hyster VNA machine

• Traction
• Steering
• 2 x Pump Motors

All of the motors are AC motors, they are all brushless and maintenance free.

The motors are rated at 25% rather than the more common lower spec of 15%

In additional to this, the motors are also sealed, this helps to reduce contamination from dirt or dust. The motors are actually sealed to a ULEE standard so if a flame proof protection is required, the motors require no further sealing.
