RFID stands for Radio Frequency Identification.
Commonly used in many applications, Toll roads, shipping labels, pet identification, building access control, all great examples.
The tag is very simple, very small and requires no power. As the reader on the truck passes over the tag, it inductively powers the tag and the tag communicates back to the truck.
Tags are placed in the floor at the entrance to each aisle and can be programmed to provide speed limitations, control lift heights, slow trucks to a stop, apply other logic.
