Within the Tier 1 Suppliers supply chain processes there are key considerations at each stage. The OEM is a key influencer at every stage. The final step of the process is dispatch where the items are loaded onto transport.

It is not unusual to see dispatch areas at Tier 1 Suppliers production facilities practically empty.

OEM’s require orders according to the production slots and therefore the order can be received by the Tier 1 Suppliers supplier 4 hours before production. Dispatch quantities can be small but regular intervals throughout the day.

Key considerations during the dispatch process are:
